For example, life happens and it decides to drop a serious pot.
But that is nothing. Below, I will show you what happened to HIMACS when an entire floor thought a bomb went off. I was there personally. Luckily, the force of nature wasn’t aimed at me. That "me" is me, Povilas. Greetings!

When the final moments arrive, when the craftsmen carry the last wardrobe, the last bed, or only the kitchen is left, real life begins. When someone trips, something gets gouged, scratched, broken, or dropped.
Then clients tell me: "We just moved in and it already needs a repair."

We find a piece of the same color.
In this case, the color is BELLIZZI. There is a pattern. So we look for an area that would be a maximum one to one match.
Here begins that mysterious HIMACS process. Change like magic.
The result:
The family returned and no one saw or knew what the "guests broke." Even a professional wouldn't find it. And the fix will hold its shape for a lifetime!
With HIMACS Solid Surface, these breaks aren't an everyday occurrence. But it happened once, so we share. Everything has value, everything can enrich us.
On the right this repaired sample is flipped. We will clearly notice where it is glued.
Here is another quite interesting repair example.
This sample above is already glued and repaired. In real life you cannot distinguish where.
The story is that a courier was ordered to transport a large 40x76 sample. Upon arrival it turned out the corner was severely broken. Somewhere on the road someone was learning to fly; they took off high but landed hard.
So we had to cut off this 7 cm wide strip from that sample.
And we came up with an activity: to glue that broken corner back together just for fun, quickly, without trying too hard, and see how it looks.
Repaired here.
Breaking it again in the same spot won't be that easy.

I look at that photo above and below. You should see my facial expression, hands over my head. How they differ. The color is the same! One was taken when there was sun outside. The other, the top one, when it is winter outside and the sky is the color of the earth: white-grey.
It is good that I know about self-worth and perfectionism. If I did not, the good things I have would never be known to you. I worked through this untapped potential once. Because the mind always plays the same song: it needs to be perfect, better, not enough yet, what will they think, it needs to be professional and so on.
Perfectionist and low self-worth: "Oh heavens, we need professional photographers in all cities, agents like the Smiths in the Matrix in all processes. Not worth starting.
Many have already seen this: they loved this format! We want more! Because authenticity and truth enrich us! That is lacking and nowhere to be found!
And that case when I said a bomb went off.
I was sitting in the office alone one morning. Right next to my desk stood a shelf. Oh heavens, it turned out to be heavy later.
...and behind the shelf, two meters away, this white piece of furniture.
Here is that bookshelf. The first impression is very deceptive. Because it looks quite light. Unfortunately reality is different.
And my oversight was enough... and it fell... straight onto this basin unit. I thought there would be large shards from that basin. The sound was so loud, the crash and impact so strong. I froze for a moment. Despair, anger, resentment.
Plus that shelf was full of things.
To my joy it only cracked in one place across the whole unit! And only at the seam joint. This corner became part of the HIMACS experience space education with the whole story read above.
We specifically do not fix it so we have something to show. Everyone can talk, but when you need to actually show it, the talk often evaporates.
